I have mixed feelings about them. India is among many countries that bring their culture and enriched ours. Our national
motto is in Sanskrit. An Indian language. Many of us use Hindu god names, like Wisnu and Surya. A religion that came from
india. But most Indonesians are also muslim, a group which I find many Indians on internet despised. I've never talked to an
Indian in real life, so I hope they are only monsters on internet. So yeah, I like Sanskrit and their culture they bring in the
past, but modern India and indians not so much.

you very much have a valid point. Not defending some of the lunatics that post here but trying to out a perspective on some of the issues we Indians face . As a Hindu one has to constantly prove that they are extremely righteous and always give way to people of other faiths no matter who is in the right and also if Hindus are denounced or insulted they have to be magnanimous. Indian Muslims on the other hand have to constantly prove their patriotism thanks to quite a few idiots who rather support their religion than the country that fed and clothed them. Add to that the constant pressure of religious conversion , politically inept leaders who stir up communal hatred we have a cauldron of simmering emotions that come out on online posts. Not all of us are anti Hindu , anti Muslim or anti nationalists but many of us are angry.

rich culture and a diversity that still has not been properly explored and written about . Hopefully we shall get to the golden

Sadly the YouTube comments on shorts are really sad to read. Even if it's a normal short or video that doesn't say anything
remotely about Islam (or how it's a great religion). Or in other words it's just a random person's video telling about their daily activities as a Muslim or just normal stuff, Hindus from India would hijack those comment sections and talk sh.
Sadly the Islam culture isn't the same all over. There had been tensions between Muslims and Hindus in Indian
subcontinent, but that has nothing to do with people from other countries. Or other Islamic countries. But these Internet
brigade starts to throw profanity at every Muslim out there. That did surely changed the attitudes towards Hindu amongst
those people, and other religions or people from different regions watch that behaviour too. It's shameful.

Please don't see people on internet and assume they are real ones. There are many fake accounts by BJP , Congress and even Pakistan who are impersonating Indians and making controversial statements. Most of the Indians are not Islamophobic.

Let me give you another pov. Indians love Indonesians. They have not forgotten their cultural roots despite the advent of islam. This is in stark opposition to Muslims in the subcontinent, who have been far more orthodox in their approach. They reject their hindu ancestory, culture, language and what not. Let not the domestic Hindu-Muslim divide(which has a long history) affect your opinion of Hindus. Hope I gave you some context.

India and Indonesia is very similar in many ways Historical partners, and also future partners.India is a secular state that respects all religions by and large, there are always exceptions, but the norm is that.Regarding Islam, Indian history is complex, and so is Indonesian history, so people have opinions on that, although it must be made sure that opinions aren't hurtful to anyone. Same here. I used to have a very positive view of India, after all a lot of cultural elements are quite similar. But, then the internet happened. At first, my thinking was that most of these nutjobs were vocal minorities resulting from the radical party’s ascendance. Come to India, if you are humble,polite and Non-radical, you will be welcomed warmly. If you are radical(which I am sure most Indonesians are not, including Arabs too), you will be politely shown the way out of India, sometimes not so politely too.You shall reap as you sow, rule applies in India too.

I agree, you are correct; but it is mostly giving back as there is a constant abuse at home country about Hindus in India,
mostly paid propaganda by church which then picked up by others. Otherwise more than 90% of Hindus respect other

So yeah, I like Sanskrit and their the culture they bring in the past, but modern India and indians not so much. I think the comment section pretty much validates that opinion.

Modern Indians have deal with problematic nations like Pakistan and China. While with later there is much more of a territorial conflict but the first one has been involved in terrorism and organised hate crimes against Hindus without any plausible reason except that of the religion . Henceforth you would find some people having developed sentiments of hate for Muslims although mostly who do this type of brainless shit on internet are doing it just for attracting cheap attention. But as for Indonesia any normal citizen won't even be able to differentiate it from Singapore or Malaysia or Thailand. For them It's a nation from where we do some sea trade and go for holiday.
