I disagree. Most Vietnamese called themselves East Asian not Southeast Asian. Vietnamese people rarely pay attention to the Khmer, Thai, and Malaysian. Vietnamese people see them as weird strangers who don’t even used chopsticks and celebrate Lunar New Year.
